Circle Equation Algebra

Geometry Level 2

What is the equation of a circle with the centre at ( 2 , 3 ) (2,3) and touching the line 3 x 4 y + 1 = 0 ? 3x - 4y + 1 = 0?

( x 1 ) 2 + ( y 2 ) 2 = 1 (x - 1)^{2} + (y - 2)^{2} = 1 ( x 2 ) 2 + ( y 3 ) 2 = 1 (x - 2)^{2} + (y - 3)^{2} = 1 ( x + 3 ) 2 ( y + 2 ) 2 = 1 (x + 3)^{2} - (y + 2)^{2} = 1 ( x 3 ) 2 + ( y 2 ) 2 = 1 (x - 3)^{2} + (y - 2)^{2} = 1 ( x + 2 ) 2 ( y + 3 ) 2 = 1 (x + 2)^{2} - (y + 3)^{2} = 1

1 solution

There is only 1 option which has the right centre represented in the equation. So the line which touches the circle is irrelevant....
