Circles

Geometry Level 3

A , B , C A, B, C and D D are points on a circle.

P A PA is a tangent to the circle.

P A D = 3 9 \angle PAD = 39 ^\circ and B C D = 10 3 \angle BCD = 103 ^\circ .

B D BD is NOT a diameter

Find the measure of the angle A D B ADB .

Give your answer in degrees.

The answer is 64.

I posted this question. 64 degrees is the right answer, but I'm not sure how to get there. Any help would be greatly appreciated

P A D = D B A = 39 ° \angle PAD = \angle DBA = 39°

B A D = 180 ° D C B \angle BAD = 180° - \angle DCB

B A D = 77 ° \angle BAD = 77°

180 ° 77 ° 39 ° = 64 ° 180° - 77° - 39° = 64°

Thank you so much, but one confusion: why is angle PAD=angle DBA?

Edit: don't worry, figured it out - alternate segment theorem. Thank you so much for the solution
