From the above, the arrangements that have 3 3 adjacent black circles are numbers 1,3,6,7 and 10.

The probability that 3 blackcircles are adjacent is 5 10 = \frac{5}{10}= 1 2 \frac{1}{2}

There is a typo in the problem. "Three" must be "three"

Thanks. I've updated the problem statement to reflect this.
