1 solution

Suppose, Tanvir took n n days to climb.

Then, there were 2 n 2n period of times (mornings and afternoons) during his journey.

It rained 11 11 times. So, there was no rain in ( 2 n 11 ) (2n-11) period of times.

Given that, there was no rain in 16 16 mornings and 13 13 afternoons or ( 16 + 13 ) = 29 (16+13)=29 period of times.

Now,

2 n 11 = 29 2n-11=29

n = 20 \Rightarrow n=20
