USING FOX' FORMULA,

AT 8:50 THE DEGREE IS 35

SO THE TIME TO WAIT IS 8 MINUTES

At 8:00a.m. the difference between the two hands is 240deg, which changes at the rate of 5.5deg / min, and at 8:50a.m. it is 275deg, that is 35deg more.
