This is the copy of solution I had given for the same problem some time back.

I created a square using the tangent lines. Symmetry tells us that one side of this square would be [12 + 6sqrt(2)]. And then subtracted the unneceassary area of that square from the total area to get the required result (132.797) which is then rounded to 133.
