As there are: \\ - 3 {\color{#D61F06} 3} dresses \\ - 3 {\color{#3D99F6} 3} dance shoes \\ - 3 {\color{#20A900} 3} pairs of earrings \\

Diana can make 3 {\color{#D61F06} 3} × \times 3 {\color{#3D99F6} 3} × \times 3 {\color{#20A900} 3} = = 27 \boxed{27} different outfits

Let's put Dress 1 as the dress and set that aside. The 9 combinations for the shoes and earings are 1/2 (Shoe Pair 1/Earring Pair 2), 2/1, 1/1, 2/2, 1/3, 3/1, 3/3, 2/3, and 3/2. That's the same if you substitute Dress 1 with Dress 2 or 3. So 9 shoe-earring combinations for 1 dress x 3 dresses = 27 dress-shoe-earring combinations.
