Coin Carnival

Logic Level 2

Let's say you spin a wheel, and this wheel is divided up into four equal quarters. In each quarter, there is a slot for a coin, but the dimes are covered sufficiently to hide which side of the coin is facing up, but not the fact that the coin exists. If at any time all coins are facing the same direction, a light comes on in the center of the wheel. You are allowed to spin the wheel five times, and each time after the spinning, you are able to take out the coins from their holdings and look at them and put them back any way you want. What is the minimum number of times required to spin the wheel and interact with the coins to guarantee that the light will turn on?
