Collapsing Bubble

A conducting bubble of radius a a , thickness t ( t < < a ) t (t<<a) has potential V V . Now the bubble collapses into a droplet.

The potential of the droplet V V' can be given by:

V = V ( a m t ) 1 n V' = V {\left ( \frac{a}{mt} \right )}^{\frac{1}{n}} , where m m and n n are integers.

Find the value of m 2 n m - 2n .

The answer is -3.

Thus, m = 3 ; n = 3 m=3; n=3 . m 2 n = 3 m-2n = -3 .
