This is the same as a a + b b + c c + d d = 12.Thus (using stars and bars) number of ways is 15 ! 12 ! 3 ! \frac{15!}{12!3!} = 15 ∗ 14 ∗ 13 3 ∗ 2 ∗ 1 \frac{15*14*13}{3*2*1} = 455
