Concept of chemical equilibrium

Chemistry Level 2

Which of the following statements is NOT correct about the following reaction in a solution with the equilibrium constant K C : K_{C}: a A + b B c C + d D ? aA + bB \rightleftharpoons cC +dD?

If A , B , C , A,B,C, and D D are gases, K C K_C can be described in terms of pressure. The equilibrium constant of this reaction is always dimensionless. K C K_{C} can be expressed as [ C ] e c q [ D ] e d q [ A ] e a q [ B ] e b q . \frac{[C]^{c}_eq[D]^{d}_eq}{[A]^{a}_eq[B]^{b}_eq}. K C K_{C} is dependent on temperature.

Let the unit of the concentration to be A.Then unit of the equilibrium constant will be A c + d a b A^{c+d-a-b} .Hence If only c + d = a + b c+d=a+b , K c K_c will be dimensionless.
