First, we assume that the height of the cylinder is h, therefore the height of the double cone is also h and the height of one cone is 1/2h

V of Cylinder =πr^2 h = 300 cm^3

V of Cone = (πr^2 x 1/2h)/3 = (πr^2 h)/6

V of Double Cone = 2 x(πr^2 h)/6 = (πr^2 h)/3

πr^2 h = 300 cm^3

V = (πr^2 h)/3, substitute the value

V = 300 cm^3/3

V = 100 cm^3
