Let 3x be ram's salary and 4x shyam's salary last year

Ram's present salary will be 3x X 5/4= 15x/4

Shyam's present salary will be 4x X 3/2=12x/2

Therefore ratio of ram and shyam present salary is 15x/4:12x/2

Simplifying the ratio 15x/4: 24x/4

The present ratio of salary is 15:24 or 5:8

If the total salary is 4160 then ram salary is 5/13 x 4160 = 1600
