Let them be a-3d ,a-d, a+d and a+3d sum=4a=50 therefore,a=25/2 It is also given that the greatest term , that is ,a+3d,is equal to 4 times times the smallest term , that is,a-3d therefore, a+3d=4(a-3d) By substituting the value of a and solving it ,we the value of d as 5/2 therefore the first term is a-3d , that is ,5 the second term is a-d , that is ,10 the third term is a+d, that is ,15 the fourth term is a+3d , that is ,20 therefore the product is 15000.
