let the present age of Suman be x yrs and Tania be y yrs
Clearly, Suman is older than Tania.Let the difference of their ages be z yrs.
so, x-y=z........(i)
also, x+y=112.........(ii)
using (i) in (ii), we get 2x-z=112........(iii)
now, z yrs ago, Tania's age = (y-z) yrs
so, x= 2(y-z)..........(iv)
using (i) in (iv) we get x=4z.........(v)
substituting (v) in (iii), we get x= 64
thus, Suman is 64 years old presently
