Algebra Level 2

A container is filled with a liquid up to 4/5 th of it's volume. When 6 bottles of liquid are taken out and four bottles of liquid are poured back into it, it is 3/4th of it's volume. Find the number of bottles of liquid when the container is full.


The answer is 40.

4/5 - 3/4= 1/20. 1/20=2 from(6-4 bottles) 1/20 * 20= 2 * 20. 20/20= 40

(4/5)x - 6 + 4 = (3/4)x. Solve for x = 40
