When you convert the numbers to base 10 you get 5 , 14 , 7 , ? , 9 , 19 , 8 5, 14, 7, ?, 9, 19,8 . The 5th letter of the English alphabet is E E , the 14th is N N , 7th - G G , 9th - I I , 19th - S S and the 8th is H H . put them one after another you get E N G ? I S H ENG?ISH . The question mark stands in the place of L L . L L is the 12 t h 12th letter of the alphabet. 1 2 10 = 11 0 3 12_{10}=\boxed{110_3}
