It would be easy to convert the fraction into a decimal if the denominator of the fraction is a power of 10.

3 5000 = 3 × 2 5000 × 2 = 6 10 000 = 6 ÷ 1 0 4 = 0.0006 \frac3{5000} = \frac{3\times2}{5000\times2} = \frac6{\num{10000}} = 6\div 10^4 = \boxed{0.0006}
