In each square there are 2 trianles,then idn red portions there are 4 triangles so total 2X4 +4 =12 trianles. Ans K.K.GARG,India

There are 8 8 small triangles and 4 4 big triangles for a total of 12 12 .

There are 4 yellow triangles, then there are 4 red triangles. Then two red triangles form another two triangles, and change the form and you get another two. 4+4+2+2=12. :)
