Read the following information: -

In a certain code language -
1. she likes apple is written as pic sip dip .
2. parrot likes apple lots is written as dip pic tif nit .
3. she likes parrot is written as tif sip dip .

Answer the following questions -
1. How is parrot written in the code language?
2. Which of the following statements is/are necessary to answer the above question?

Note -
Suppose the answer to the first question is pic and to the second one is Statements 2 and 3 . Then the correct choice will be pic, 2 & 3 .

i use statements 1 & 3

  1. she likes apple = pic sip dip
  2. she likes parrots = tif sip dip

    since both statement have "she likes" so i took off 2 common code which is "sip dip". from there i conclude:

"apple" = "pic"

"parrots " = "tif "

=D

i created venn diagrams for each of the 3 statements..

she likes assign to sip dip, and we can easily judge from 1 and 3 statement that tif is assign to parrot
