The first group of letters that repeats is "xli" and as it's a three-letter group it makes sense to compare it to the word "the"; and there's indeed a simple connection, each letter has been replaced with the letter four positions further in the alphabet, a classic encryption technique known as the Caesar Cipher. To decrypt the text, just shift every letter in the code four places back in the alphabet; in the first word, G becomes C, p becomes l, m becomes i, g becomes c and o becomes k, so the deciphered first word is "Click".
