1) Gallium-> Ground state Ga : Ar 3d10 4s2 4p1 Excited state Ga(3+) : Ar 3d10 4s0 4p0 Electrons in outermost shell = 10

2) Gold-> Ground state Au : [Xe] 4f14 5d10 6s1 Excited state Au(3+) : [Xe] 4f14 5d8 6s0 Electrons in outermost shell = 8

3) Iron-> Ground state Fe : [Ar] 3d6 4s2 Excited state Fe(3+) : [Ar] 3d5 4s0 Electrons in outermost shell = 5

4) Lanthanum-> Ground state La : [Xe] 5d1 6s2 Excited state La(3+) : [Xe] 5d0 6s0 Electrons in outermost shell = 0

Hence, the correct increasing order of ions of electrons in outermost shell is

Ga3+ > Au+3 > Fe3+ > La3+
