P=4s

48=4s

s=12

d^2 = 12^2 + 12^2

d^2=288

SUM = s + d^2

SUM = 12 + 288

SUM = 300

If Perimeter is 48cm then the side of square should be 48/4=12cm so the square of its diagonal is D^2=(12*root2)^2 = 288 So the sum of square of its diagonal and side is = 288+12=300

[(12)^2+(12)^2]+12=300

4x = 48 => x=12 .....(Length of one side) Find length of diagonal and square it Then add the length of diagonal and length of each side to get 299.9808(round off to 300) ANSWER:- 300

Let square side is a.

Given 4*a=48 this implies a=12

SO Sum of square of diagonal and its side =2 a 2+a=2 144+12=300

2(L+L)=48, 4L=48, L= 12, L^2 + L^2 = (square of diagonal) = 12^2 + 12^2 = 288, so answer is 288+L= 288+12=300
