Dangerous Earthquakes

Mr. Wei is stuck inside his room at the highest floor of the building. He hears the earthquake shaking the building so powerfully and loudly that he could not escape quickly. There are no objects around him except the windows and doors that are all tightly closed.

Which of the following should Mr. Wei do for greater chance of survival?

Jump when the building begins to collapse. Lean against the wall, so he can balance himself. When the building begins to collapse, balance himself. Crawl or lie down, so he doesn't need to balance himself. Use either the window or the door to protect himself. There is nothing he can do since earthquakes are too strong to go against. Corner himself, drop and hold on his heads and neck. Drop and then, hold his legs as if he acts like a cannonball.

In cornering himself, he will reach a position equivalent to the origin of the room's co-ordinate. Since the walls or roof can't fall over the corner, so he will be a bit safer. By holding on to his head and neck, he will reduce the net area of impact in case any debris of the collapsing building strikes him. Thus he can protect himself to a great extent. Rest is his fate.
