Date format problem

The date 02/05 is unclear if we do not mention the date format; it could be the 2nd of May or the 5th of February. However, the date is "obvious" in the case of 02/13 -- this can only be the 13th of February!

During the four months May-August (in a given year), how many days are there for which the date is "obvious"?

75 79 78 None of these choices 74

The date will be "obvious" for all date after the 12th of each month.

Now, (31 - 12) + (30 - 12) + (31 - 12) + (31 - 12) = 75

This gives 75 days during the four months.

But 5/5/2015, 6/6/2015, 7/7/2015, 8/8/2015 are also "obvious" dates!

So there are a total of 79 days during May-August.

Got tricked by the 4 dates! It would be interpreted the same no matter how u look at it!
