David doesn't want to tell his address

Your new friend, David, when asked about his home address said, "I actually don't want to tell exactly the position of my house; you have to find yourself. However I live at Darlington Road. " He also said,"Suppose my address is XYZ/B Darlington Road, The number "XYZ" occurs first at position 100 of the decimal stretch of pi, counting from the first digit after the decimal point where the 3 is not counted."

You found the number. David asked you to be sure what was the sum of the previous digit and next digit appearing before and after the "XYZ" in the decimal stretch of pi. What is your answer?

EDIT : Suppose the decimal stretch is 3.......AXYZB...... ; where A,B are digits before and after XYZ portion. A and B is not necessarily different number, they may or may not be same.
