Day 1

Level pending

Pikachu has just finished brushing his teeth. Ash throws him out of the house because he is ugly. Pikachu wants to run away. There are 3 ways that Pikachu can go. Branching off from the end of each of those 3 paths are 4 more paths. At the end of each of those paths, there are 50 more paths. At the VERY end of 147 separate paths, there is a bag of 45$. At the end of all other paths, there is a bag of 100$. What is the average amount of money that Pikachu would get from going on a path, if the probability that he will go on each distinct path is equal? Type your answer in dollars, rounded to the nearest cent (TWO decimal places).

The answer is 86.53.
