The company MC Chocolatiers make two types of chocolate bar; Malo bars and Chum bars.

Chum bars are 60% chocolate.

Malo bars are 55% chocolate, but they are 20% larger than Chum bars.

As a percentage, how much more chocolate do Malo bars have than Chum bars?

Malo bars are 120 % 120\% of the size of Chum bars. So relative to a Chum bar, Malo bars have 55 % × 120 % = 66 % 55\% \times 120\% = 66\% chocolate. The percentage difference is precisely: 66 % 60 % × 100 % 100 % = 110 % 100 % = 10 % \frac{66\%}{60\%} \times 100\% - 100\%= 110\% - 100\% = \boxed{10\%} as required.
