Each year on Memorial Day, the National Guard decorates the graves in the Arlington National Cemetary with flags. If a troop of 10 soldiers want to decorate an area with 100 tombstones by placing 2 flage on each grave, and each soldier begins with the same number of flags, how many flags does each of the begin with?

1 soldier = 2 flags

10 soldier = 2 * 10 = 20 flags

There are 100 tombstones with 2 flags each, thus 200 flags are needed. If there are 10. soldiers, each will carry 20 flags.
