Determinant of upper triangular matrix

Algebra Level 1

Find the determinant of the matrix

( 1 0 1 9 11 0 6 1 9 11 0 0 1 3 80 1 3 0 0 0 9 7 0 0 0 0 5 ) . \left(\begin{array}{cc}1&0&-1&9&11\\0&-6&-1&9&11\\0&0&\frac{1}{3}&-80&\frac{1}{3}\\0&0&0&9&7\\0&0&0&0&-5 \end{array}\right).

The answer is 90.

For an upper triangle matrix, the determinant is simply product of diagonal entries.
Determinant = ( 1 ) ( 6 ) ( 1 3 ) ( 9 ) ( 5 ) = 90 =(1)(-6)(\dfrac 13)(9)(-5)=90
