Part 1

Write the problem in this form for reducing confusion:


  • 1st) There are 0 false statements.
  • 2nd) There is 1 false statement.
  • 3rd) There are 2 false statements.
  • 4th) There are 3 false statements.

It seems that the x x -Th statement holds the number " x 1 x-1 " . Soooo...

  • ?) "There are n false statements. " --> n+1) "There are n false statements."

Part 2

Looking at just three statements:

1st) There are 0 false statements.

2nd) There is 1 false statement.

3rd) There are 2 false statements.

In these sentences holds true the third statement, and for this format extended with n n sentences, always holds true the last sentence. So it's the last sentence; n + 1 n+1 sentence.

It seems that the problem only has n sentences from the table you posted.
