You have been invited onto a game show.
You have 6 spot stickers that you can place on a blank 6-sided fair dice.
You can place all 6 spot stickers on one side of the die and risk it all, or place 1 spot sticker on each side and play it safe.
After you have placed the spot stickers in any way you want, you throw the dice once.
It is easy to see that no matter how you place the spot stickers, on average you will get 1 spot sticker.
Now, you throw the same dice 18 times. On average, how many spot stickers will you get in total?
