Dirichlet Inverse

If f ( n ) f(n) is the Dirichlet inverse of I k ( n ) = n k I_k(n) = n^k , what is f ( n ) ? |f(n)|?

Notation: μ \mu denotes the Möbius function .

n k n^k μ \mu μ | \mu | n k μ n^k | \mu |

I k ( I k μ ) = I k ( 1 μ ) = I k ϵ = ϵ I_k*(I_k\mu)=I_k(1*\mu)=I_k\epsilon=\epsilon . In the first step we use the fact that I k I_k is totally multiplicative.
