the given sequence is sum of factorials. And notice the fact that the divisor or denominator is 24 ie, 4! So, all terms from r = 4 are divisible by 24 and hence leave no remainders. Just add the first 3 terms ie, 1! + 2! + 3! = 9. And that is exactly the remainder
