There are 999 - 99 = 900 positive 3-digit integers.

Hence, the number of positive 3-digit integers, which are divisible by 5 is:

900 ÷ 5 = 180 900 ÷ 5 = \boxed {180}

(Since we've got a whole number as a result (no remainders), we don't have to check the first and the last few values separately.)

In all, highest 3-digit no. is 999 and highest 3-digit no. divisible by 5=995.. 995 5 \frac{995}{5} =199... so, the correct ans. is 199

also you can say [999/5] = 199.
