In the above figure S R = 6 SR = 6 , the radius of larger circle is 5 5 and that of the smaller circle is 3 3 . Find the length of P Q PQ .

The whole diagram has a line of symmetry which is a line through centers of both circles. P Q = S R PQ = SR regardless of radius of any of the two circles or the distance between them.

Can you show your proof?
