if ( x + y + x / y ) = 1 / 2 (x + y + x/y) = 1/2 ;
( x + y ) ( x / y ) = − 1 / 2 (x + y)(x/y) = -1/2 (y not equal to 0). find number pairs ( x , y ) (x,y) which satisfy the above equation.

Can someone do this one...

When we get the cases, we need not solve the equations. It's obvious that there will be 2 solutions.

Just to make sure everything's alright, I have solved it. We can stop solving when we get the cases.
