The circle on the left is open, so it doesn't include x = 2. x=-2. The line extends off to the right, including all of the numbers greater than 2. -2. Thus, the answer is x > 2. x>-2.

On my Note 4, the circle appears to include -2 and does not appear open.

I disagree, it's not readable. You should have taken a bracket " ] " to make it clear or that coloured sign " > " to ignore the point x = - 2.
