Do your work

The velocity of the particle changes in A.P. such that at t=0s it is at rest after time t=9s it velocity is 88.2 m\s .

Find the work done by on the particle ????

Detail

1.mass of particle = 1kg

2.Friction is absent

3.Round of the answer till 2 decimal place

The answer is 3889.62.

No need of force approach.... work done by all the forces equals change in kinetic energy. Thus Initial KE =0 final ke= 0.5 1 88.2*88.2 thus chande = final =3889.62joules

Work done has a simple formula= (Force) (displacement) F=m *a & D = u t+1/2 a t^2 (Newton's law)

Time taken = 9 seconds. Initial Velocity = 0 m/s. Final Velocity = 88.2 m/s. Mass = 1 Kg. v = u + at. 88.2 = 0 + 9(a). a = 88.2/9 = 9.8 m/s^{2}.

s = ut + 1/2 at^{2}. s = 0 + 1/2 (9.8) (81). s = 396.9 m.

F = ma. F = 1 x 9.8. F = 9.8 N.

Work done = F x s . Work.done = 3889.62 joule.

It is correct technical approach
