There is 80 kg pure milk in a container. You take out 8kg milk and pour in water in its place. You did this process three times in all . How much milk is left in the container now (in kg)?

X amount of pure solution ,Y amount of replaced solution and 'n' number of times the process done is given by X(1-Y/X)^n

Correction: X × ( 1 Y X ) n X \times (1- \frac{Y}{X})^n

Your expression is not wrong but it seems to be like we first need to subtract Y from 1 and then divide by X.
