All one has to do is realize that point E is a center of a circle going through points A, B, and C. This is obvious from the fact that A E B = 12 0 \angle AEB=120^\circ while A C B = 6 0 \angle ACB=60^\circ .

Then since A E = E C AE=EC and A E C = 9 0 \angle AEC=90^\circ the E A C = 4 5 \angle EAC=45^\circ and B A C = 4 5 + 3 0 = 7 5 \angle BAC=45^\circ+30^\circ=\boxed{75^\circ}
