In a box there are a total of nine balls. Each of these ball have same radius. Now if these balls are tightly fitted in this box, and the RADIUS OF A BALL=1 cm. find the height(length) 'h' of the box?

If you see properly then you find an equilateral triangle of 6 balls. As the traits is 1cm so side of triangle is 4cm. This gives height of triangle to be 4cos(30). Now we have 1cm left or at the top and bottom. So final height is 4cos(30) + 2 = 5.46 approx.
