As the mirror is convex so by sign convention focal length ( f ) =30.
Distance of object from the pole ( u )=-30.
So
f 1 = u 1 + v 1
By putting value we get v = + 1 5 .
As the there is +ve sign so the image is formed is behind the mirror.
