An ant starts from one end of a cubical room to reach the diagonally opposite end. What is the shortest distance covered by it. The side of the room is "1 unit". (the answer can be upto 3 decimal places )


The answer is 2.414.

The Shortest Distance isn't the body diagonal but the face diagonal + one side i.e D= sqrt(2) + 1 = 2.414(approx)
