Let the number of DVDs sold is 'y' Day 1: Cost of 1 CD=60 So total selling=y 60 And profit be 'x'.so on selling those DVDs we got y 60=x
Day 2: Cost of 1 CD=40 Selling=(y+4)40 and the profit be same so, (y+4)40=x
Equate the both equations on LHS, Y*60=(y+4)60 Y=8; So on day1=8, day 2=8+4 Total=20
