good question but very funny and easy options.

as 80$ has to be divided among 3. so, summation of their money will be 80$.

but, only in 1 option, summation of their money is 80$.

so, i didn't have to do that-the answer is option 1

Let the first person has $x. So the second person will have $2x and the person will have $(2x-5). So now, the total is $80.

x+2x+2x-5=80

5x-5=80

5x=85

x=17

The answer are 17, 34, 29

Plz change the options to the question as none of them add up to 80 except the answer. The options reveal the answer without even solving

Let the first person has $x. So the second person will have $2x and the person will have $(2x-5). So now, the total is $80.

x+2x+2x-5=80

5x-5=80

5x=85

x=17

So, the amount shared to the three persons as follows 17,34 and 29.
