1^2 + 2^2 = 1 + 4 = 5

2^2 + 3^2 = 4 + 9 = 13

3^2 + 4^2 = 9 + 16 = 25

4^2 + 5^2 = 16 + 25 = 41

so , 5^2 + 6^2 = 25 + 36 = 61

The difference between the first numeral (5) and the second numeral (13) is 8

The difference between the second numeral (13) and the third numeral (25) is 12

if we see this in terms of Even numbers we see that it is skipping one even number and going to the next

like : the even number after 8 is 10 and the one after that is 12

we skip ten from eight and go to twelve

lets see if this pattern is followed in third and fourth one too :

the difference between the third number (25) and the fourth number (41) is 16

indeed it does,

after 12 it skips 14 and goes to 16

so by this , our prediction is :

it must add 20 because it has to skip 18:

so 41 + 20 is 61
