To make the bears 50% of the mass (unless it's 100g N of jelly beans - quite a lot) their total mass must be equal to the sum of the masses of the other two sweet types - i.e. 130g (100+30.) Since there are 20g already, the mass added is 130-20 = 110g.
Just never give this question to a physicist like myself or they get rather annoyed at the casual incorrect use of the term 'weight'.
