2 x + 4 y = 2 , x + 2 y = 1 , x = 1 2 y . 2x+4y=2, x+2y=1, x=1-2y.

3 ( 1 2 y ) 5 y = 6 , 3 6 y 5 y = 6 , 11 y = 3 , y = 3 11 3(1-2y)-5y=6, 3-6y-5y=6, -11y=3, y=-\frac{3}{11}

x = 1 2 ( 3 11 x=1-2(-\frac{3}{11} ) = 1 6 11 =1 \frac{6}{11}

This is not an interval notation, as there are no intervals of any kind involved. Please say something like "Report answer in a format (x, y)."
