Easy as Marbles!

There are 4 red marbles and 5 green marbles in a bag. What is the probability of drawing out a red marble first and a green marble second? (Assume that you do not replace the marble once you have drawn it.)

7/12 5/19 7/17 5/18

The probability of drawing out a red marble first is 4 / 9 4/9 (Favorable outcomes divided by possible outcomes), and the probability of drawing a green marble after a red is 5 / 8 5/8 , so to get the probability of drawing first a red, then a green, we just multiply the two probabilities to get 5 / 18 5/18 .

that last one should read 5/18, but good problem
